Arlington United Methodist Women (UMW) is a unit made up of five circles of women. Our purpose is stated as follows:
"The organized unit of the United Methodist Women shall be a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ and to develop a creative supportive fellowship and to expand concepts of missionthrough participation in the global ministries of the church"

We meet as a unit in the church Fellowship Hall on the second Monday in February through May and September through December, at 7:00pm. The circles meet at various times either in homes or at the church. We focus our mission giving on women, children and youth. Our giving is a pledge of second mile giving and separate from our individual pledge to the church as a whole.

At our meetings we discuss the business of our unit and then have a program on various topics relating to the missions of women, children and youth.

We belong to the Gateway Central District of the United Methodist Women and participate in may different events throughout St Louis County and throughout Missouri.
