Arlington UMC has services each Sunday morning at 10:00 am. The service begins promptly, and we recommend arriving a few minutes early so you can get a bulletin and find a seat!
Dress code – Sunday morning attire at Arlington UMC varies greatly! People attend worship in everything from jeans to suits on any given Sunday. Please dress in a way that is most comfortable for you! Nothing is needed to attend worship, except for you!
Offering – Offering is taken weekly, and is greatly appreciated but not required. As United Methodists, we believe that giving is an act of thanksgiving and worship and tithing is a spiritual discipline which we practice as a part of our spiritual formation. We give out of gratitude and not out of obligation.
Holy Communion – Communion is served the every Sunday. Holy Communion in the United Methodist Church is an Open Table. The Table is not Arlington’s Table or The United Methodist’s Table – The Table is open to all, no exceptions. Gluten free communion is offered as well.
Children – Children are welcome and celebrated in worship at Arlington UMC! “Busy Bags” are available for children to use during worship, and a Cry Room and children’s area outside the Sanctuary is available as well.
Accessibility – we seek to accommodate you as best we can. Both main entrances located on the East side of the building (farthest from McKelvey Rd.) are accessible. Large print bulletins, assisted listening devices, and wheelchairs are available for use during worship; please see an usher for use of any of these items. Worship is a participatory experience. Please let us know how the church can serve any accessibility needs!
